Swine Nutritional Aids
ADM Animal Nutrition’s Swine Nutritional Aids provide cost-effective solutions that enhance our standard nutritional programs and address specific challenges beyond your control. Our swine nutritional aids provide opportunities to improve your return on investment (ROI). Challenges could include heat abatement (summer heat stress), mycotoxin challenges, internal parasites, constipation and unavailability of nutrients from grain. Some of ADM Animal Nutrition’s unique solutions include proprietary products such as Thermal Care™ and CitriStim® along with other additives such as Easyzyme®*, Paylean®* and Safe-Guard®*.

Empirical® NSP Mixer Enzyme
ADM’s Empirical NSP (non-starch polysaccharide) mixer delivers a multi-enzyme complex that allows greater formulation flexibility to utilize opportunity ingredients containing higher amounts of NSPs. It enables swine to better utilize the fibrous components of feedstuffs by improving their digestibility and availability.

CitriStim®
CitriStim®, an ADM proprietary feed ingredient, is a proven, truly unique whole-cell inactivated yeast (Pichia guilliermondii) product beneficial in the diet for all life stages and classes of animals. CitriStim may help the animal strengthen its defense against health challenges by supporting and optimizing gut function, gut integrity, and body defense responses, strengthening production. Stress Relief
Stress Relief is a blend of unique nutritional ingredients that support key physiological systems which are affected by stress.
Usage rate: 3 lb/ton of complete swine feed
Safe-Guard®* Dewormer 0.72%
Safe-Guard Swine Dewormer 0.72% is a broad spectrum swine dewormer for mixing in the complete ration and fed over a period of 3 to 12 days.
  • Contains fenbendazole for removal and control of major internal parasites of swine – lungworms, gastrointestinal worms (large roundworms, nodular worms, small stomach worms and whipworms) and kidney worms
  • A good worm control program combines of good management practices and regular use of Safe-Guard Swine Dewormer. Suggested deworming program: twice a year for boars, prior to breeding for gilts, prior to farrowing for sows, at weaning for pigs, prior to shipping/on arrival for feeder pigs and as needed for growing/finishing pigs

First Plus+™
First Plus+ is intended for use in lactating sow rations to enhance feed intake and performance.
  • A supplement containing plasma protein, CitriStim® and natural-source vitamin E

  • Research shows plasma protein helps enhance feed intake in lactating sows which may result in heavier pigs at weaning

Laxeze PSY Pak
Laxeze PSY Pak is a natural laxative containing ground psyllium seed to help relieve constipation or to help alleviate hard stools in gestating and lactating sows.
  • No bitter taste which is commonly associated with chemical laxatives; consequently, does not deter feed intake
  • Can be fed individually or mixed in the complete ration
  • 10 lb/ton inclusion rate or top-dress 2 tablespoons per head daily; duration of feeding should be kept to a minimum to maximize effectiveness
Super B Plus
Super B Plus is an economical vitamin formulation for livestock and poultry to be fed prior to or during periods of stress.
  • B vitamins along with added vitamins A, D, E and K
  • Provides higher amounts of B vitamins which are beneficial during periods of stress, such as extreme changes in weather, transportation, parasite infestation or disease challenges
  • Use as a short-term supplement during periods of stress may be beneficial as water-soluble B vitamins are not stored in appreciative quantities in body tissues
  • 5 lb/ton inclusion rate
Dry Fat 100
Dry Fat 100 is a unique product containing 100% pure animal fat.
  • Use to increase energy density of the diet to help maximize reproductive and growth potential
  • Prilled to form free-flowing beadlets, which improve handling characteristics such as flowability
  • Convenient to use – free-flowing product improves handling
  • Great alternative to the capital costs associated with liquid handling systems
  • 1-2% inclusion rate for nursery and grow/finish diets
  • Pre-farrow and lactation inclusion rates:
