Patriot®
Patriot products provide varying amounts of protein, energy and fiber to optimize your horse’s performance and health. Patriot Complete Feeds are formulated for use when forage supplies are limited or of poor quality and have higher feeding rates due to the inclusion of forage in the formulas.

What’s unique about Patriot Feeds?
  • Limited starch formulations – Combination of highly digestible, fermentable fiber and vegetable oil sources with limited amounts of high-quality grains lowers starch content of the diet compared to many traditional horse feeds, while at the same time provides energy that is highly utilizable by the horse
  • Complete GROSTRONG® mineral-vitamin package of 28 minerals, vitamins and electrolytes (including salt and biotin) in appropriate ratios and amounts specifically formulated for horses
  • Zinpro®* complexed zinc, manganese, and copper have higher bioavailabilities and may impart benefits ffor immunity, reproduction, skeleton and joints, hoof integrity, and skin/coat
  • CitriStim®, an ADM proprietary feed ingredient that may favorably impact the gut microbial population

  • ProsponseTM yeast for feed palatability, digestibility and hindgut fermentation
  • Natural-source vitamin E for better bioavailability compared with synthetic vitamin E; needed for protection against oxidative tissue damage and immune system function; and may be especially important for working horses due to risk of exercise-induced muscle damage

Patriot Quick Performance™
  • Moderate starch (20%-30% non-structural carbohydrates)
  • For mature athletic horses that can benefit from a quicker release of glucose compared to other Patriot Performance Horse Feed products
  • 14% protein, 10% fat and no more than 17% crude fiber
  • Up to 6 lb daily feeding rate
  • Pellet; 50-lb bag
Patriot Performance 12% and 14%
  • Moderate starch (20%-30% non-structural carbohydrates)
  • For mature performance horses
  • 12% protein option (#80020) provides 6% fat and no more than 20% crude fiber
  • 14% protein option (#80021) provides 6% fat and no more than 20% crude fiber
  • 14% protein option is also suitable for broodmares
  • Up to 6 lb daily feeding rate
  • Pellet; 50-lb bag
Patriot Mare & Foal (80022)
  • Lower starch option (<20% non-structural carbohydrates)
  • For foals and growing horses up to 18 months of age; can also be used for broodmares
  • 16% protein, 6% fat and no more than 14% crude fiber
  • Up to 6 lb daily feeding rate
  • Pellet; 50-lb bag
Patriot Senior Complete (80029)
  • Lower starch (<20% non-structural carbohydrates)
  • Complete forage-feed product
  • Formulated for senior horses; can also be used for horses age four and older
  • 14% protein, 7% fat and no more than 20% crude fiber
  • Provides a substantial amount of highly digestible fiber, allowing it to be fed without additional forage
  • Is an ideal product to use when forage supplies are scare or of inferior feeding value
  • 16-20 lb daily feeding rate
  • Easy-to-chew pellet; 50-lb bag
Patriot Feed Easy® Complete (80128)
  • Lower starch (<20% non-structural carbohydrates)
  • Complete, 14% protein forage-feed product
  • Formulated for mature horses, mature working horses and broodmares
  • Provides a substantial amount of highly digestible fiber, allowing it to be fed without additional forage
  • Is an ideal product to use when forage supplies are scare or of inferior feeding value
  • Feeding rate starts at 7 lb for mature horse at maintenance and increases depending on work load and life stage
