Forage
Forage, a horse’s natural feed, should be chosen to meet as much of a horse’s protein, energy and fiber needs as possible. Forage types (pasture, hay, cubes/pellets, hay extender) can be combined to provide the best program for each individual horses. Each horse should be fed 15-30 lb of forage daily. ADM Animal Nutrition’s Forage First® approach to feeding horses is specifically designed to make it easy to maximize forage in your horse’s diet.
